How to Transfer Music Files From Your PC to Smartphone

We all love to hear some good music. But with how much time we have, we need something that we can do so while jogging outside, sitting in in the bus or relaxing after a difficult business meeting.

The question is only how can you use your Android smartphone in this manner? Well, there are actually two ways to do this. You can either directly download music files on it, or you can use a streaming service from the Web. In this article, we will focus on how you can transfer music files from PC to your phone.

How to Transfer Music Files From PC to Smartphone?

If you want to get some music files from your PC to Smartphone the first thing you need to do is to connect them using the USB cable that came in the box with the phone.

Next, install the Android device PC drivers to install (just “ok” any messages that pop on your PC). Or, if that's too much of a hassle for you, use the disc you got with the phone. This will allow the drivers to install automatically.

The following step is to pull down “Notification” drawer on the home page of your smartphone. Look for an item “USB Connections” and select “OK”.

Find “My Computer” on your PC and look for “Removable Storage” or something similarly labelled. Here, you will find the Smartphone's drivers. Double-click on the drive and this will open the file explorer window. Just drag/drop any music files you want from your PC here. Remove the USB cable when its done.

Ta-da! You now have your favourite artists on your Smartphone.
